I am using the Rasberry Pi HQ camera and would like to use exposure times greater than available in the slider. I used Node-RED to increase the value max 5000ms but it doesn't seem to have any effect.
Yes it works, but I still need to test the coming update, as the better camera needs slightly higher delay times.
I am currently using the telephoto lens, which works great, BUT the distance between object and camera is quite large (30-50cm+ for a 10cm object).
I havent had any success with the standard wide-angle lens as the depth of field is very low.
So, I am still looking for a good (and cheap) option, before posting any recommendations :)

And yes, everything works fine with the Pi 4 :)
@Sandro Bilbeisi Problem "solved" :) It is a GPU issue and I had to increase the internal GPU memory from 128 to 256 (on my Pi 3b+) and now it seems to work properly. I am still testing and will release an update if necessary, but so far everything is working fine with the current interface :)) (Except for the preview, which sometimes times out, but this is only a minor issue)
I have also ordered an adapter ring for my Canon EF lenses and I am very curious about the results. I will post the updates as soon as possible.
Anyway, the image quality (especially sharpness and colors) are much better with the new camera and so I hope, that the resulting meshes and especially the textures should get notably better.
Anyway, I would be very happy to see your results and if you need any help with the software, just let me know.

Any ideas?
This means that the new 12MP camera is working with Openscan? :-)
Which lens is recommended? And can it be used with Raspberry Pi 4?
I want to build OpenScan and would like to use latest components if possible.

Hey :)
I've got mine yesterday and already performed a few first tests. Unfortunately the Python library, which is used in the openscan interface does not support the full resolution yet, but I assume that it will be updated soon :) You see my current findings/comparison here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenScan/comments/gdeqay/hiqh_quality_raspberry_pi_camera_12mp_for/
