How to prepare a model for scanning
Do any of you have experience about "chalk, scanning spray, dust, dry shampoo" etc to cover the models to be scanned?
I understand that the best should be the AESUB spray, but it happens that only 400 ml. They are more expensive than a 16 Mp camera, 1Kg. of PLA filament, 1Kg of resin etc...
Thanks
You do not need the expensive spray and anything you mentioned will work. Note, it will take some practice to get a good coverage of the surface. At the beginning, people tend to „overshoot“. Look at www.openscan.eu/scan-gallery how the parts should look like. Many, many small dots are the goal (10.000-100.000 per photo ;)
